Saints head for Indy, away from Gustav

Posted by Mike Mardis - email

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Saints will practice in Indianapolis this week after being forced out of New Orleans by hurricane Gustav.

The Saints will spend the week at Lucas Oil Stadium preparing for their September 7 opener against Tampa Bay.

The Tampa Bay game is scheduled for the Louisiana Superdome, and the Saints plan to be there for it unless damage from Gustav dictates otherwise.

The storm could hit the mainland as early as Monday.
