Obama expected to spend big bucks in IN

Barack Obama says he's going to spend resources for November's general election in Indiana.

The Hoosier state hasn't gone democratic since Lyndon Johnson won it back in 1964.

Obama is already running television ads throughout the state and has opened a campaign office in Indianapolis.

The Illinois senator is expected to add at least 20 additional regional offices in the coming weeks.

Some republicans claim Obama is only trying to force republican rival John McCain to spend resources in the traditionally red state.
