Hein Leaving Bosse for Vincennes

One of the tri-state's most successful young boys basketball coaches-- Bosse's Jeff Hein-- is going green. The Vincennes Community School Corporation board has announced that hein has been approved as the new head coach at tradition rich Vncennes Lincoln.

Hein spent several years at Boonville, before leaving for Bosse in 2005.  In three years with the bulldogs, his teams posted a 55-19 record and took the school to the Class 3A state finals in 2007.

Although he's proud of what his teams accomplished at Bosse, Hein told 14News the Vincennes job was just too appealing.

"I think it's a great community.  Vincennes is one of the top jobs in the southern part of the state, and has been for a long period of time, they have a great basketball tradition, and it seems like a great place for my family to grow up. My kids are 1st and 3rd grade, I think it'll be a great place for them to go to school."
