The Rotaract Club and Young Evansville Professionals are teaming up for Holly's House, an advocacy center for victims of sexual and domestic crimes, by raising funds at a March 27 social event at Blush Ultralounge and Tapas Bar in The District at Casino Aztar in Downtown Evansville.

The two community-service organizations made up of young professionals in the Evansville area want to help Holly's House any way they can. "We really don't have any financial goals, we just want to help out our friend Holly Dunn Pendleton, who is very passionate about her work with Holly's House," Amy Beck, social chair of the Rotaract Club, told Business Watch.

Pendleton, who is also the president of Rotaract, has brought increase awareness about sexual assault and safety through her work at Holly's House, which opened in 2007.

Members of the organizations who make a minimum $10 donation will be eligible for a night's stay at Le Merigot, a waterfront hotel in The District in Downtown Evansville.
