Edward Jones stock analyst brings insight to utility stocks

By Louis La Plante

Brian M. Youngberg, a senior stock analyst for Edward Jones in St. Louis, will present "A Day in the Life of an Analyst," giving insight into his stock assessments. The lecture begins at 4 p.m. on March 19 in the Symthe Lecture Hall of the Schroeder Family School of Business Administration Building at the University of Evansville.

Youngberg joined Edward Jones in 2000, and within two years, he earned The Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" honor, ranking number one in the utilities section. His success has given rise to his appearances in CNN, NBC, and other networks.

"We are very pleased that such a knowledgeable speaker was available to come speak to us about this interesting topic," says Dr. Walayet Khan, a UE professor of finance who invited Youngberg to speak. "He will be sharing with us not only his day-to-day life on the job, but how he rates stocks for oil, utility, and other companies."
