Keller Crescent Co., a major producer of folding cartons, labels, inserts, outserts, and other packaging components servicing the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, this week announced the appointment of Bill Mitchell as the new chief executive officer of its printing/packing operations. He will oversee Keller Crescent Co.'s current facilities in Evansville, Indianapolis, Ind., and Charlotte, N.C.
Mitchell, who is moving to Evansville from Pennington, N.J., served as president of Cardinal Health Packaging Services where he oversaw clinical packaging, contract packaging, and printed components. Mitchell replaces Thomas Smythe, who is retiring after more than 50 years with the company.
"Keller Crescent has a reputation in the packaging industry for their unwavering commitment to quality and unique ability to create and maintain key long-term business relationships," Mitchell said in a statement. "I am looking forward to the growth potential for the company and the positive impact we can have on the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries."
