The law is hot on the trail of folks who break the Tri-State's pseudophedrine laws.

In Owensboro, city, county and state police rounded up several people accused of buying more pseudophedrine than the law allows.

In Evansville, 81 citations were sent out after investigators looked at pseudophedrine logs for just five pharmacies on the west side over a 25 day period.

Sergeant Scott Hurt with the Evansville Police Department says, "We are going to stay on it. We have noticed an increase in our meth labs in December, January and maybe even February."

Investigators compare logs from county to county. And if you're caught buying too much pseudophedrine, they promise, you will be prosecuted.
