Henderson Police are asking for your help in another death investigation.

Police say 38-year-old Sonya Powell's body was found in her Fifth Street home early Sunday morning by her boyfriend.

Detectives say Powell's death is suspicious. It appears she had been beaten, but autopsy results are pending. Police are trying to figure out where Powell may have gone late Saturday night.

Det. Bryan Trimborn, Henderson Police Department, says, "Right now, we're just trying to clarify some of the details. Like I said, there are a lot of unexplained injuries to miss Powell's body. That's why we're asking the public, to see if anybody may have seen her out, seen them out together."

They may have been driving a late model teal green, two door Mustang. If you saw Powell or her boyfriend, Ricky Slaughter anytime after eleven Saturday night you're asked to call Detective Trimborn at (270) 831-1295.
