Crisis Connection will be at Teen Outback

Crisis Connection, Inc., the local not-for-profit, volunteer-based, victim assistance program that serves victims of sexual and domestic violence, will be participating at three events at The Teen Outback in Huntingburg.

The first one on September 15 will be entitled, "Relationships & Media Influence...More Than Fun & Games".  The second on October 6 is entitled, "Peace Begins With Me!".  And the third on November 3 is "Taking Care of Yourself".

On 9/15, the teens will participate in a life-size board game and be eligible to win actual board games.  On 10/16, they will learn how to fold origami peace cranes.   And finally on 11/3, they will receive a toiletry kit with messaging on how to take care of themselves not only on the outside but the inside as well.

Informational pieces on predatory drugs, anti-bullying, internet safety and journaling will also be distributed.
