An Evansville dentist accused of exposing himself to an assistant and showing a cell phone picture of his genitals to staff members could be practicing again by the end of the year.

Dr. Daniel J. Fink had practiced dentistry for 28 years before his license was suspended in January. The Indiana Board of Dentistry voted unanimously on Friday to extend his suspension until early November.

By then, Fink could be reinstated with conditions. Attorney Terry White said Fink has to find another dentist willing to supervise his client during a probationary period. Fink has undergone behavioral treatment programs to address boundary issues concerning workplace dealings with others.

Fink attended the hearing Friday but did not comment.
