Thirsty for a good cause

If you're thirsty, we have the perfect place for you, the lemonade stand at the Evansville Rehabilitation Center. It's become an Evansville tradition.

It raises money to help fund therapy for patients with disabilities, and there's more than just lemonade.

You'll find staff and parents, like Art George, manning the stand, Art says, "It obviously brings money to the Easter seals rehabilitation center, but it gives them an awareness about what actually happens here. Therapies for adults and children from all over the Tri-State. If you are within the sound of my voice you are probably affected by the rehab center."

They've raised more than $25,000 in the 11 years they've had the stand.
