Six months: Indy flights still possible

An update on efforts by Evansville Regional Airport officials to resume flights to Indianapolis.

14 News has learned the airport received an extension from the federal government to continue looking for a carrier to fly to Indy. The airport won a $2 million grant back in 2004 to subsidize the service, but hasn't found an airline carrier that can sustain the route.

The grant was to expire this month, but the extension now gives the airport another six months to use what's left of the money.
