Quints are doing very well

Quintuplets born in Evansville last month are exceeding expectations.

On February 15th, Emily Wright gave birth prematurely by Caesarean delivery to three boys and two girls -- Ethan, Peyton, Landon, Jenna and Sydney.

They ranged in weight from two pounds, nine ounces to one pound, ten ounces. Their mother was discharged from the hospital February 19th.

The quints, however, will likely stay for about eight more weeks at the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Mary's Hospital for Women and Children. Emily Wright says she was plagued by fears throughout her pregnancy.

But now, Rob Wright says the infants are exceeding expectations in their incubators at the hospital. He says the infants have to reach several developmental milestones before they are discharged.
