Thieves Make Off with Toys for IN Children

There's a Grinch in Columbus, Indiana. Someone broke into a warehouse over the weekend stealing toys and electronics donated for a Christmas gift program.

Local firefighters, who are running the gift drive, say thieves made off with at least two shopping carts filled with goodies.

Sgt. Scott Stam, with the Columbus Fire Department, says, "...There's 101 firefighters here. Everyone takes pride in the Cheer Fund. Families, wives, ex-firefighters, everyone comes out...[the] whole community comes out."

The firemen's Cheer Fund in Columbus provides gifts to about 1,500 children every year.

Police say they have no suspects at this time.
