An Indiana State trooper is dragged by a car during a traffic stop.

Trooper Ryan Wilson received a call stating 20-year-old Brandon McManomy violated a protective order, and broke a Newburgh resident's glass front door.

The trooper located McManomy and pulled him over just before 9:00 Tuesday night

Trooper Wilson says McManomy refused to get out of the vehicle and sped away - dragging Wilson down the roadway a short distance.

Wilson was treated and released for his injuries.

McManomy was arrested about an hour later.

He's in the Vanderburgh County jail charged with battery on a police officer with injury, and resisting law enforcement.

Additional charges are pending in Warrick County.
