Governor Fletcher has ordered flags flown at half-staff at all state office buildings in remembrance of those who lost their lives in Sunday's Comair Flight 5191 at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington.
Mayor Teresa Isaac issued the same request to the public in Lexington and said flags should remain lowered to half-staff until further notice, in remembrance of the victims.
Fletcher and his wife are in Germany where the governor is on an economic development trip. Fletcher's announcement was relayed through his Frankfort office.
The Fletchers planned to return to Kentucky late this afternoon.
