Kobe Hits Lakers' Record From The Line

He's only 27, yet he's already one of the most gifted basketball players of all time.

And Monday night against Toronto, Los Angeles Lakers super star Kobe Bryant scored the second most points in a single game in NBA history.

The Lakers beat the Raptors 122-to-104, behind's Bryant's 81 points.

Bryant, who scored 62 points last month in a game against Dallas, hit on 28 of 46 shots, and was a perfect 18 for 18 from the line.

His 81 points broke the Lakers' team record of 71 points, set by the legendary Elgin Baylor in 1960.

Bryant left the game with 4.2 seconds to go after scoring his 80th and 81st points from the line.
