The University of Evansville women's basketball team took to the court for a good cause over the weekend.

The fourth annual Hoops For a Cure was held Sunday at Roberts Stadium. A portion of ticket sales, from the game against Creighton, goes to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Organizers say it was a chance for fans to see a good game while helping raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

The Lady Aces took the win against Creighton 59 to 46. They are now 2nd place in the MVC.
