Taiwan Donates $50,000 To Local Tornado Relief

Governor Mitch Daniels accepted a $50,000 donation from Taiwan Tuesday, that the Asian nation has earmarked for southwestern Indiana's tornado relief efforts.

Daniels called the donation to the American Red Cross for victims of the deadly November sixth tornado a quote "magnificent gesture."

Taiwan's foreign affairs minister Tan Sun Chen is a Purdue University graduate.
