Final meeting being held Tuesday for Oakland City storm sewer rates

OAKLAND CITY, IN (WFIE) - The second and final public hearing on a possible storm sewer rate hike in Oakland City will be held on Tuesday.

Officials say flooding is a problem there and old storm drain pipes are to blame.

Officials say they've had 30-inch storm drains collapse, leaving sink holes in people's yards. Tuesday's meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. at the fire station.
