Flames extinguished after oven fire at Echo Lakes

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

An oven fire is now out, but not before damaging the building.

Owensboro Fire Department officials told 14 News reporter Katie Kapusta, the fire at Echo Lakes started with a oven. Officials say the high temperatures from the oven caused damage on the inside of the building as well as the roof.

It is unknown at this time how significant the damage is. We will update this story when more information is made available.
