Driver identified after deadly Hopkins Co. wreck

HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE) -

The person killed in a Hopkins County wreck has been identified.

Hopkins County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as Emma Riley, 21-years-old, of Princeton, Kentucky.

The sheriff's office says the single-vehicle crash happened just before 9 a.m. Friday on KY109 at Huckleberry Rd., near Dawson Springs. The press release says Riley was driving northbound when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a concrete culvert off the roadway.

Riley was pronounced dead at the scene.

No update was provided on the lane closure. We were told earlier the road is down to one lane and to avoid the area if you can.
