KENTUCKY (WFIE) - Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin was in Lexington on Tuesday to sign his "Employment First" executive order.
It comes from the Kentucky Work Matters Task Force that has been working for the last year to come up with ways to help get rid of obstacles people with disabilities may face when looking for a job. That is because Bevin says there are more jobs available in Kentucky than ever to before.
Governor Bevin took steps on Tuesday to knock down barriers for people who might otherwise not be able to enter the workforce.
The executive order also aims at helping foster children, disabled veterans, and people burdened by substance abuse or criminal records find and keep jobs.
