EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

A pickup truck led numerous police agencies through three states before driving into a ditch off Highway 41 in Evansville.

Sheriff deputies from Illinois tell us the chase began in Pope County after 7 p.m. Monday.

They say the driver, now identified as 47-year-old Michael Kennedy, of McLeansboro, IL, wouldn't stop for speeding, and led deputies on a pursuit through Saline County, IL, into Gallatin, then to Union County, KY.

From there, Kennedy went into Henderson and drove south on Green Street, taking police into Union County and Webster Counties, before traveling back north into Henderson, over the Twin Bridges into Evansville.

The video from Henderson Watch Facebook Page shows 18 police vehicles chasing the truck going north on Green Street through Henderson.

After crossing into Indiana,  Evansville police say Kennedy crashed into a ditch. He and a female passenger, 48-year-old Sharmin Partridge, of Raleigh, IL, were then taken into custody by EPD officers.
