MADISONVILLE, KY (WFIE) -

[A business with a location in Madisvonville is expanding their operations.

The Madisonville Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation says WebstaurantStore will hire between 100 to 120 new employees.

Mayor David Jackson told us they are excited to see a corporate citizen continue to grow.

Clean up is underway following the demolition of the former Goodyear building. Once that happens, a 540,000 square foot distribution facility will be built there.

The development will initially bring 100 to 120 jobs, with a starting pay between $13.50 and $15.50 an hour.

Leaders within the organization say those salaries have the potential to grow between $20.50 and $23.50 an hour.

Ground could be broken as soon as next month.

The company came to Madisonville in 2011. The Webstaurant Store is a division of Clark Associates, which sells food-service needs through a website.

It should be completed by the second half of 2019.
