The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation is honoring Even Start class of 2017-18.
The program is for anyone that may have had a difficult time getting their degree. On Friday, they recognized this years class while family and friends attended.
The program is in its 20th year and officials say it provides much-needed help for the graduates.
"It's awesome," Nancy Myers, assistant teacher, explained. "I'm very, very blessed to be able to be a part of this program. It's very exciting to have this end of the year celebration with our family and their children and everybody."
The Lampion Center is the primary partner for the program and also has support from many community organizations.
