EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The Evansville Rescue Mission's Thrift Store is celebrating its grand reopening.
The Oak Hill location recently closed for a remodel. They offer clothing, furniture and many other items at a discount price.
The president and CEO says that money goes right back into their mission. He says he's thankful for the support by the community.
"We could not do what we do every single day of the year if it weren't for the incredible community we have," Tracy Gorman,President & CEO, explained. "The community donates, the community volunteers. They stand beside us and they help make possible what the mission has done for 101 years."
Gorman says he's hoping to open two more thrift stores in the next couple of years.
