HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE) - A teenager is accused of shooting someone in Henderson.
Police say officers went to check out a call about a shooting late Sunday morning in the 2300 block of Adams Lane.
According to police, the victim in the shooting, 56-year-old Thomas Walker, was accused of breaking into a home and the 17-year-old suspect had called Walker and threatened to kill him over it.
The teen and two other people then went to Walker's home.
Walker ended up getting slammed to the ground and police say the teen fired a handgun, hitting Thomas in the hand and arm.
The teen was arrested on an assault charge and taken to the McCracken County Regional Juvenile Detention Facility in Paducah.
