Victim shot in legs, feet in Princeton shooting

GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) -

A man was shot in Princeton during the early morning hours of New Year's Day.

Police say around 1:30 a.m. officers were sent to check out a shots-fired report in the 600 block of N. Gibson St.

When officers got there they found a man who had been shot in his legs and feet. 

They were able to quickly develop 18-year-old Riley Hill as a suspect in the shooting and place him under arrest.

Hill is being held in the Gibson Co. Jail without bond on charges of aggravated battery, battery with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
