Two people stabbed in Evansville; man in custody

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

A stabbing investigation is underway in Evansville.

Just after 7:30 Thursday morning officers were called to a stabbing in the 1100 block of W. Louisiana.

Officers say they found that two victims, a father and son, with stab wounds to their necks. 

Police say the son has life-threatening injuries.

The victims told officers their family member, Robert Tucker, attacked them with a knife and took off on a moped. 

Police say while investigating, they were called to an urgent care center where Tucker showed up for treatment. They say he had cuts on his hands. 

Tucker is now in jail charged with two counts of attempted murder and burglary with a deadly weapon.
