EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Hockey season is right around the corner, and training camp is in full swing for the Evansville Pro Thunderbolts.
On Thursday, they wrapped up day two at Swonder Ice Arena, and the guys are looking good.
There are quite a few returning players as well as new guys battling for a spot on the roster, and that's exactly what head coach Jeff Pyle wants.
Last season didn't end the way the team had hoped, and this year, there is some serious hunger in that locker room.
Training camp wraps up this Sunday.
The Thunderbolts' first game is Saturday, October 21 when they welcome in the Peoria Rivermen.
