Chris Logsdon Named G-MAC Special Teams Player of the Week

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

After helping the Kentucky Wesleyan College football team bring home its first victory of the season, kicker Chris Logsdon has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday morning.

The sophomore was a perfect four-for-four on extra point attempts on Saturday and nailed a 41-yard field goal in the first quarter.  The mark is tied for the second longest in the conference this season.

Logsdon's six kickoffs accumulated 293-yards for an average of 48-yards per kick off.

The Owensboro, Ky. native is now a five-for-five on PAT's including one during week one.

The Panthers will head to Frankfort, Ky. this weekend to take on the Thorobreds of Kentucky State University with kick off set for 12:30 pm on Sept. 16.
