KY family says they came face to face with Paris shooter during trip

Investigators in Paris are still trying to determine whether the man who killed a police officer and wounded two others Thursday night worked alone. 

A Kentucky family says they came face to face with the shooter. John Kinney, his wife Angela, and their three teenage sons are from Paintsville.

On a visit to Paris, the family came face to face with the gunman when he started shooting, thinking they would get shot. Luckily they were not hurt.

Their daughter who was back home is relieved tonight her family is okay.
