EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Evansville Police say a man led them on a high-speed chase with two young children in the car.

They say they went to Corregidor Circle on a domestic violence run on Wednesday night.

Officers say they saw a speeding Dodge Charger and tried to pull the driver over, but he refused to stop at first. Police say he finally pulled over at Boeke and Pollack.

According to officials, the driver, 23-year-old Joe Outlaw Junior, told them he didn't stop because he had a bag of marijuana in the car and didn't have a license.

Police say two six-year-old children were in the car as well as Outlaw's mother.

He's facing numerous charges including neglect of a dependent, criminal recklessness, and possession of marijuana.
