Evansville man sentenced 79 years in prison for child molesting

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

An Evansville man convicted on child molestation charges has been sentenced.

Ryan Remling, 25, was sentenced to 79 years in prison on child molesting and weapon charges. He was convicted of four counts of child molesting after a two-day trial last month.

Remling was arrested in December after police were notified about videos of the alleged incidents on Remling's phone.   

Police say the victim was under the age of 14.
