City commissioners in Henderson held a work session Monday to discuss several issues, including a reduction in property taxes and a change in the city's smoking ordinance.

Commissioner Robert Pruitt's plan would give a $38 tax break to those who own property valued at $100,000.

Pruitt also discussed a change to the city's smoking ordinance that allows e-cigarette smoking in open air areas as well as in vapor shops.

No decisions were made at the meeting and these issues will be discussed further at future meetings.
