EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

There's new information on a chase that happened Tuesday in Evansville.

Police say they tried to pull over 30-year-old Jessica Scarberry on First Avenue around 11:30 a.m., but officers say she sped up and led them on a chase for about 10 minutes.

Officers say she pulled over in the West Haven Subdivision when she and her passenger, 31-year-old Antonio Bibbs, took off running. They were arrested a short time later.

Police say Scarberry had about 7 grams of meth on her. They say she told them she had been dealing large amounts of meth coming from Atlanta for a long period of time. She's charged with dealing meth and resisting law enforcement.

We're told Bibbs threw a gun out of the window during the chase. He's charged with possession of a handgun by a felon, resisting, and possession of meth.
