Jasper man arrested for strangulation after domestic disturbance call

JASPER, IN (WFIE) -

A reported domestic disturbance led to the arrest of a Jasper man on a Strangulation charge.

Shortly before 2:00 a.m. Saturday, the Jasper Police Department arrived at an address in the 600 block of Giesler Road for a domestic disturbance call. When officers arrived, a female was found with a bloody face, two black eyes, and busted lip, according to the police report.

After the investigation, it was determined that Jonathan Holt, 39-years-old, of Jasper, had attacked the woman and caused the injuries to her face. Holt was taken to the Dubois County Security Center and is charged with Strangulation, a level-six Felony. The female was taken from the scene to Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
