DUBOIS CO., IN (WFIE) -

A new trial date has been set for 25-year-old Kyle Popplewell, who was charged with rape and murder.

After being pushed back more than once, Popplewell will go to trial on June 12. The judge says no more delays will be granted.

According to authorities, Popplewell held a woman hostage inside a Ferdinand home in January. After three hours, they were able to get inside.

They then found 37-year-old Jeffrey Perry stabbed to death.

The two women in the home were taken to the hospital.
