EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

An Evansville couple is picking up the pieces after somebody broke into their home twice since they began remodeling two years ago.

Now the family is trying to decide whether to keep the house they recently bought or put it up for sale.

Mike and Amanda Morley haven't even moved into their home yet, but it's been a big series of disappointments.

Somebody kicked in their back door earlier this year and stole power tools. Then, late last week, somebody kicked in a basement window. This time stealing a camera with Amanda's kids baby pictures and other sentimental things.

They found some of their belongings in the alley behind their house. Now the two are trying to figure out what to do next.

"They destroyed things like ornaments my kids made me for Christmas. They shattered them. My graduation cap and gown were on the floor upstairs. Things that mean stuff to me," Amanda said.

Right now, there are no leads.
