Public Input Sought On Hwy 60 Project

New Media Producer: Kerry Corum

Henderson County residents will get a chance to voice their concerns about a proposed widening project on US 60.

Kentucky Transportation officials are holding the first of two public meetings Tuesday, to gather public input. The project includes expanding Highway 60 to four lanes, from Henderson to Morganfield, with a bypass around Corydon.

Tuesday's meeting will be held at 4:30 at Chandler Elementary near Corydon. An identical meeting will be held Thursday at the Knights of Columbus in Waverly. Officials will have exhibits outlining the reconstruction.
