New Madisonville Community College president named

MADISONVILLE, KY (WFIE) -

Madisonville Community College has a new president.  

Dr. Cynthia Kelley will begin at the college on July 1, 2016. 

School officials say has served as vice president of Academic Affairs at Motlow State Community College in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

Kelley earned her doctorate from Ohio University in Athens. She will replace Dr. Judith Rhoads, who retired in early 2016 after an 18-year tenure as president.

Dr. Deborah Cox served as interim president during the vacancy.
