PRINCETON, IN (WFIE) - Engineers have requested $9.8 million in improvements for Princeton's waste water treatment plant.
On Monday night, the proposal was presented at Princeton's Board of Public Works and Safety Meeting.
Engineers arrived at that $9.8 million mark after a year-long study.
They looked at-intake volume in the plant and how its performing.
Street and Sewer Superintendent Lynn Elpers says the plant is 20 years old and it's time for an upgrade.
No final decisions were made.
