MT. CARMEL, IL (WFIE) - An Evansville man likely won't serve any jail time after he was caught with drugs - trying to sell beef door to door in Mt. Carmel.

48-year-old Gary Buyher pleaded guilty to possession of meth.

He's now on conditional discharge for two years and has a stayed 6-month jail sentence.

Police arrested him and 40-year-old April Malicoat while they were attempting to sell meat.

Officials say Malicoat was driving a delivery car and had been drinking and doing drugs.

She'll appear in court next month.
