EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - One of the men once charged in the shooting death of an Evansville DJ is sentenced to a year in prison on a probation violation.
Authorities say marijuana was found in Derrick Murray's home during a search. He was on probation after making threats over the internet to Evansville police.
Those threats lead to the so called "flashbang" SWAT Raid in 2012.
Police say the IP address Murray used came from the home that was raided.
Murray was also one of three men charged in the death of Shane Breedlove, but those charges have been dropped.
