Grayville school board considers next steps following community forum

GRAYVILLE, IL (WFIE) -

It's not clear what's next for the Grayville Community Unit School District.

The school board voted unanimously to not pursue a consolidation study following a community forum.

Superintendent Sarah Emery says state finances are affecting the schools, so they've been considering changes to Wells Elementary.

With consolidation off the table, they'll now start looking at other ways to make cuts and generate revenue.
