TRI-STATE (WFIE) - A national shortage of the flu shot has doctors canceling appointments across the Tri-State.
We're told the manufacturer, where local hospitals get their supply from, is running low.
Dr. Jill Smith, a pediatrician at St. Mary's, says more should be available soon.
In the meantime, wash your hands, eat well, and get plenty of sleep.

The human parainfluenza virus is a virus that commonly causes things like croup and bronchitis in young children. In older kids and adults, it usually presents itself as a mild cold.
