Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapy treatment focused on improving or restoring functions which have been impaired by injury or illness; or where function has been permanently lost or decreased by injury or illness, to improve the individual's ability to perform those tasks required for independent functioning.

Occupational Therapy addresses all activities which "occupy" a person's day (self feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, cooking, homemaking, community tasks, medication management, etc.).

Treatment includes: improving function through exercises, neuromuscular re-education, compensatory strategies, adaptive equipment training, adaptive positioning, and splinting if needed.
