Home Depot employees remodel American Legion post

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Volunteers for vets.

Some home improvement store employees are giving back to a local American Legion post.

A crew from Home Depot spent the day remodeling the American Legion on New Harmony Road.

They installed new flooring, and replaced bathroom fixtures.

They also spruced up the landscaping on the property.

"Home Depot has a focus right now on improving the lives of vets across the United States," said Cameron Lutz, District Manager.  "We have a program going on right now called Celebration of Service and the Celebration of Service at Home Depot runs from 9-11 up until Veterans Day."

There are 50 employees volunteering from eight stores in the Tri-State.
