Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

A 1950s inspired restaurant celebrated its grand opening Tuesday in Evansville.

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is open now on North Green River Road near Menards.

They specialize in hamburgers pressed thin on the grill, shoe string fries and for dessert, an old-fashioned frozen custard.

“The typical Freddy’s experience should involve a lot of smiling faces, a lot of energy,” said Zach Woodburn, Director of Franchise Support.  “It’s a very family-friendly place.”

Restaurant hours are Monday-Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m.
